We are looking for an energetic, creative and authentic Recruitment Specialist to join us in our Newton, MA office and be part of a team that is set to redefine the private home care industry.  The position is responsible for creatively and aggressively recruiting key talent, including our most valued asset, Caregivers, who have a direct impact on our overall service delivery.  This position requires a focus on finding creative, out-of-the-box ways to identify and hire an exceptional team of professionals.  This individual is also responsible for efficiently and effectively delivering our orientation and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire recruitment process from beginning to end, including identifying and sourcing applicants, screening and interviewing, extending offers, and ultimately onboarding.
  • Creatively source applicants through all available means, including social media, traditional media, job fairs, community services and agencies, career websites, partnering with educational institutions, networking, etc.
  • Work with managers to proactively evaluate additional workforce needs within the organization.
  • Write and post creative job descriptions to attract the best candidates.
  • Develop and track data on the recruiting and hiring process, e.g. cost-per-hire, time to hire, turnover rate, employee tenure, etc.
  • Review resumes and conduct interviews to evaluate if candidates meet the position requirements.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the applicable HR files.
  • Perform applicable reference, verification and background checks.
  • Prepare and deliver offer letters, orientation materials, and orientation sessions.
  • Work with HR team to ensure successful onboarding and Day 1 engagement by all new employees.
  • Work with HR team to maintain updated and accurate employee information.
  • Assist with scheduling developing and administering various trainings.
  • Work with HR team as necessary on other HR-related projects and tasks.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in recruiting.
  • An authentic passion for meeting new people and the overall recruiting process.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, take initiative without direct supervision, set priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Hard working, team player who can also work independently and figure things out independently.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases (we use Jazz HR).
  • Experience recruiting and working with remote and hourly wage workforce preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Potential Compensation

This role will be key member of the Human Resources team with an annual cash compensation in the $40,000 to $50,000 range.
